 FAQs

  • The short answer is no. Lokeli’i Photography provides everything you would need for a successful session. From baskets, to swaddles, outfits, backdrops, to bows and floral decor. However, if you have a specific outfit or look you want, if you let us know ahead of time we can make arrangements or share in the creative process. There are some families who also have sentimental items they like to incorporate, such as, a specific basket, or stuffed animal or swaddles.

  • I highly encourage booking in the second trimester or early third trimester AND FOR YOUR DUE DATE. Although I do have some last minute availability, I cannot guarantee I’ll time. Newborn sessions are hard work and take up a lot of time with prepping and editing mostly so I have limited slots for them per month and base my calendar on your due date.

  • Once retainer is received I will provide you with my phone number to call or text me that baby has arrived. Once you baby arrived, we will select a firm date within 14 days of birth. This allows for flexibility for an early or late delivery.

  • There is NO federal or global certification for newborn photography. However, I have taken many courses for overall safety and posing. I also am very adamant on cleaning all of my props after every session for your baby’s safety and health. I continually join retreats and meetings to gain further knowledge in newborn photography safety.
